Washington Heights Community Choir
A Choir for Upper Manhattan
The Washington Heights Community Choir is a no-audition community chorus based in upper Manhattan, dedicated to bringing the joy of singing into our community.
Our mission is to provide people of all ages and abilities who love to sing the chance to connect and create with others who share the same passion. Through the choir, we aim to foster creativity, lift spirits, build community bonds, and more.

"There's not a lot of pressure to be a part of this choir, yet we do grow musically each semester and I feel challenged and motivated. I enjoy socializing and meeting people who live close by but may be different from me in other ways."

is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization helmed by Washington Heights residents dedicated to making singing accessible to the community and collaborating with the many musicians who call upper Manhattan home.
